ST Leonard’s Church, Beoley, will hold its annual snowdrop weekend on Saturday and Sunday, February 16 and 17.

This free annual event is complemented by an opportunity to see displays of the history of the 900-year-old church, including the tombs of the Sheldon family who owned much of the surrounding land.

Rev Paul Irving said: “We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to St Leonard’s for our Snowdrop weekend, the weekend has drawn crowds previously and we are hoping for a fantastic display of snowdrops to welcome them.

"There will be plant sales, history and craft displays as well as refreshments on Saturday from 10am until 4pm and on Sunday from 1pm until 4pm."

There is no charge to come and see the thousands of Snowdrops.
