Cingestion on the M5
WORK is continuing on improvements to the M5 Junction Six with further lane closures expected in the coming week.
The work includes widening the roundabout, the slip roads and all the approaches, adding an extra lane to the roundabout and putting traffic signals on the A449 and the A4538 Pershore Lane south approaches.
Lane closures will take place from 9.30am to 3.30pm and 8pm to 6am.
Narrow lanes in place on the roundabout and all approaches, the 50mph speed limit will be reduced 30mph in places and barriers will be in place on the M5, A4440 and A449 approaches.
A free recovery service is in place on the affected sections of road.
