IT is never too late for love as residents at a Ludlow Care Home have been finding out at a special day of celebration and red roses.
Hagley Place Care Home in Ludlow opened its doors to the community this Valentine’s Day with a special three course luncheon and was filled with flowers, cards and sweets in celebration.
Staff, residents and guests celebrated the day of love with a special luncheon, and afterwards Marina Clent played a concert of music and song. There was also a Valentine’s Day themed raffle to raise money for a Tovertafel (Magic Table for those living with Dementia) which raised £70. Later on, Michelle Jones went around to each resident and handed them a red rose.
“This has shown us all that you are never too old for love,” said general manager Claire Harris.
