A GROUP of fitness finatics in Kidderminster will be taking on a local running challenge in support of the Stroke Association.

Five gym members from Unique Fitness in Kidderminster have signed up to complete 10K runs as part of the 2019 Hagley Resolution Run this weekend.

Gym owners Steve Knight and Audra Corbett, as well as members Andy Knight, Mary Mason and Jay Chadwick are taking on the task.

Unique Fitness is a small gym which has been in Mill Street for over 22 years.

A spokesman said: “This is the second challenge that we will be doing as a group, the first being Tough Mudder in 2017, which raised nearly £3,500 for KEMP Hospice.

Stroke Association delivers treatment and support services to stroke patients across the UK, while also campaigning for better stroke care and investing in research.
