RESIDENTS are being invited to a climate action event in Bromsgrove.
The event, at Amphlett Hall on Crown Close, is being hosted by Friends of the Earth, and Birmingham Friends of the Earth.
A spokesman said: "We're facing a climate emergency. The biggest threat to our very existence and to much of the natural world we’ve ever seen. And yet our leaders are letting us down.
"The solutions to the climate crisis are out there and people across the country and across the world are already building them.
"The most powerful way we can respond to climate change is by working together where we live to build solutions and then joining our communities together at key moments to push for big national change."
They added: "Join us on June 19 to kick-start Climate Action Bromsgrove. We’ll spend some time working out what climate action might look like in Bromsgrove and what we can do together. Come along and be part of the solution."
There is no charge for this event but people are being urged to register.
