CITIZENS Advice Wyre Forest has launched a new 'Help to Claim' service for those who need help to apply for Universal Credit.

People will now be able to get support from the charity to submit a Universal Credit application - either face-to-face, over the phone or online at citizensadvice.org.uk.

Universal Credit, which combines six benefits including Jobseekers Allowance and Working Tax Credits into one, has now been fully rolled out across the UK.

Elaine Lowe, manager of Citizens Advice Wyre Forest said: “We offer free, independent, impartial and confidential advice to people in the community everyday.

"Universal Credit has caused countless problems and we have seen first-hand what can happen when people struggle to make a claim and their payments are delayed.

“We encourage anyone who needs help with their application to get in touch."
