THE Worcester News was flooded with your images of the iconic locomotive Flying Scotsman passing through Worcestershire at the weekend.

Hundreds of people welcomed the impressive locomotive to Worcester and waved as it headed off to London.

There was cheers and applause as it went through Worcester Shrub Hill and readers have also sent in images from the vantage points to capture the locomotive.

One of the most famous locomotives in the world the service began in 1862, with the name was officially adopted in 1924.

The engine returned to the railways in 2016 following a £4.5 million refurbishment by staff from the National Railway Museum.

Among the Camera Club members to send pictures in were Brian Smith, Bill Phillips and Jonathan Clarke.

And Andy Fleming shared a brilliant video of the Flying Scotsman to the Worcester News Camera Club Facebook page.
