AN inquest into the death of a woman who was killed in an M5 crash has been fixed for next month.

Sorina Gheorghe, who was 24 and lived in Worcester, died on April 3, when her Peugeot collided with a Land Rover on the northbound carriageway near junction 5 at Droitwich.

The inquest will be held at 10am on August 27 at Stourport coroners court.

Sorina lived in Newport Street with her mother, Iulia Anemari, and worked for a company which manufactures parts for Jaguar vehicles, in Aston, Birmingham.

Boyfriend's tribute

Sorina also had her own handmade desserts business, Sweet Gifts.

Following the crash, her boyfriend Cristian Miculaiciuc, who is from Romania like Sorina, described her as "beautiful inside and out".

He said: "We are all devastated by this tragic event and we cannot believe this could ever happen to her."
