THIS year's Bromsgrove Carnival festivities have been called a huge success.
The fun started in Sanders Park on Friday with an open-air cinema showing the Queen film Bohemian Rhapsody.
Saturday was the big day for the event and it kicked off with the spectacular carnival procession, complete with floats, from North Bromsgrove High School.
As well as the lorries, there were marching bands and many organisations choose to enter as a walking group.
The groups ranged from schools to charities, local businesses to youth groups.
In Sanders Park, Wilson’s funfair was in full swing providing thrills and excitement for those of a more daring disposition.
There was also a music stage with a full programme of acts throughout the day, and a range of stalls, shows and activities.
To finish off the day, local athletes tackled the challenging Timberhonger 10k and children’s challenge fun run.
The event is non-profit making with all proceeds being donated to local charities and good causes.
This year they will be supporting Primrose Hospice, Libby Mae’s Little Angels, and the Midland Air Ambulance.
