A six-year-old from Alvechurch went back to school with the best pencil case after winning a stationery competition.

Beatrice Iles has become a Maped Helix Back to School Tester following a national social media search.

The two-stage Facebook competition called upon creative school children across the UK to send in a short video of themselves to the stationery giant, Maped Helix, explaining their love of all things pens, pencils and highlighters.

Beatrice, did just that and her heartwarming video earned her a place as a finalist.

Following a second video which saw Beatrice share a clear passion for stationery, organisation and video creation, she was later crowned an official Back to School Tester and was the recipient of £100 worth of showstopping stationery, just in time for the new school year.
