A REDDITCH charity will be holding a sleepout to raise awareness of rough sleeping.
Redditch Nightstop, a unique service which works with young people aged 16 to 35, is holding a sleepout next month at Redditch United's football ground.
People will be spend a night out in the open, sleeping on cardboard boxes.
Money raised from the sleepout will help the charity reduce the number of young people at risk of experiencing homelessness in the Redditch area.
A spokesman said: "Funds raised will go towards helping young people set up when placed into the supported accommodation. It will go towards supporting them with their own tenancy, to help towards gas, water and electricity bills, and to help them buy food. It will also help to buy them clothing for interviews, with Identification and means of travelling."
