THE developers behind a 91-home neighbourhood in Kidderminster has sponsored the Harriers Football Club for this season.

Miller Homes Midlands, which recently launched Weavers Chase off Stourbridge Road, has donated £1,300 to the Kidderminster Harriers as part of its efforts to ensure clubs and amenities are thriving in the local area.

To celebrate the sponsorship, two members of the team, Harry Higginson and Correy Davidson, visited the Weavers Chase development after its opening weekend.

Harry Higginson, the club's defender, said: "The team would like to thank Miller Homes for their help.

"The donation is a great investment in our club, and it is really important for us to be working with projects and developments that bring so much to the local area.”

Alastair Parsons, area sales director for Miller Homes Midlands, added: "We are always eager to show our support for the local community, so I speak for the whole Miller Homes team when I say we are delighted with this partnership.

"Kidderminster Harriers are a very popular football club and we're thrilled to be involved for the 2019/2020 season, and wish them the very best for the season.

“Our main focus at Miller Homes is to build strong communities, and that means going above and beyond just constructing homes to ensure there are a variety of thriving sports clubs and amenities in the local area around our developments for our homeowners to enjoy.”
