Worcestershire Symphony Orchestra is looking at the stars, which will be one of the themes for a new season.
But where on earth, or off earth, will the orchestra take its audience?
A spokesman said: “We are looking forward to an exciting season. Blasting Off, with our family concert on November 9.
“An afternoon event, it is an interactive concert and promises to be great entertainment with room for children to sit close to the orchestra and takes on the theme of a musical journey into space and back - with universal themes from ET (Extra Terrestrial), Star Trek, extracts from The Planets, and similar Earth and Space related themes.
“It is an annual event that proves very popular with families and helps promote the great heritage of classical music in Worcestershire to the new generation.”
The concert takes place at 2.30pm on Saturday November 9, at St Martin’s Church, London Road, Worcester.
