Thieves have stolen hundreds of pounds worth of stock in an overnight burglary.

Co-op in Stow-on-the-Wold was targeted by thieves with alcohol and snacks worth hundreds of pounds taken in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Stow PCSO Charlie Symes said: "In the early hours of Sunday morning, Stow Co-op was broken into by males with face coverings and gloves.

"They smashed the front window with a rock and entered the shop stealing hundreds of pounds of alcohol and snacks.

"Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or any vehicles seen driving around Stow square around 4am (03/11/19).

"If anyone in the vicinity of Stow square has any CCTV that we have not collected yet please call 101 quoting incident number 74 of November 3."
