HAVE you seen tonight's beaver moon?
The beaver moon is the first full moon in the month of November.
The name originates from America.
It marked the time for both the colonists and the native tribes to set beaver traps for their supply of winter furs.
It is also sometimes known as the frost moon because it generally appears around the time of the first frosts.
