After a 17-year absence, Malvern Hills Round Table are bringing back the Santa Sleigh.

This will give families the opportunity to see Santa, whilst Round Table members collect donations for St Richards Hospice in Worcester.

Chairman Ben Allman said: “We are tremendously excited to bring Round Table’ s Santa’s Sleigh back to our local community for children to see and enjoy.

“Over the past few years, we have had many people say they remember the sleigh from their youth and would we ever bring it back again.

“I’m ecstatic to say we are! Please do look out for the locations where Santa will be visiting and where possible, donate to support the wonderful St Richards Hospice.

“We have also received support from SLP Auto and Trailer Repairs who have serviced our sleigh for free.”

Claire James, St Richard’s Hospice fundraiser, said: “We are so grateful to the Malvern Round Table for choosing to support us this festive season. We are really excited to be working with the round table team.

“It is only thanks to the generosity of our community that we are able to continue providing our care to patients and loved ones.”

On Monday, December 2, the sleigh will visit Fruitlands, the next day Brookfarm Drive, and on Thursday, December 5, Tennyson Drive and Kiln Lane

On Monday, December 9, it will be in Pound Bank and Moat Way, on Tuesday Elgar Avenue and Orford Way and on Wednesday Maybank and Mansfield Road.

Its final appearance is on Monday, December 16, at Malvern Vale.
