REDDITCH Crematorium will be opening its doors to the community with a special service.
The crematorium will be holding a special, festive memorial service for residents to remember their friends and family.
There will be a festive service, a performance by a brass band, and refreshments.
Michael Birkinshaw, bereavement services manager, said: “Christmas is a time for reflection, remembrance and giving and we hope to encompass all of these things in our event.
"It will be light hearted and festive but it will also give visitors the opportunity to actively remember their loved ones and share this with other people in a similar position, as well as giving back to a great community cause.”
The event, on December 17 at 6.30pm, is free to attend the event, no booking is required and all are welcome.
Residents can also register their interest in the event via the council’s Facebook event page.
