Police have said this type of incident is rare
A WOMAN in Redditch has had her bag stolen by a masked man armed with large kitchen knife.
A man has approached a woman near Holyoakes Close and asked her for cash before making off with her black bag in the direction of Winyates Centre.
The offender is described as 6ft tall of a skinny build with a black hoody and trousers.
Police said he also had a black bandana covering his face and he carried a large kitchen knife.
DS Paul Willetts said: “This type of incident is rare and we are asking for anyone with information or who was in the area at the time that may have seen something to get in contact via 101 quoting 0736S141119.”
The incdinet happened on November 14 between 9pm and 9.30pm.
