A 39-year-old man has denied dealing cocaine and heroin in Worcester.
Richard Doe appeared over videolink from HMP Hewell at Worcester Crown Court on Monday.
Doe of Elgar Avenue, Malvern pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine and heroin with intent to supply, offences alleged to have taken place on October 15 this year.
The trial, which is expected to last two days, was placed in a warned list for March 31 next year. This means the trial could begin on or soon after that date.
Michael Conry appeared for the Crown. Doe was represented at the hearing by Jason Patel. Recorder John Steel QC said of the case: "The issue is intent not possession."
The custody time limit for Doe expires on April 16 next year. He was remanded in custody until the trial and advised that he was obliged to provide a defence statement ahead of the trial.
