THERE will be a chance to ask the candidates to become MP for Ludlow questions at a husting in the town.

It will take place at St Laurence Church on Monday, December 2 - 10 days before people vote in the first December election for nearly 100 years.

Doors will open at 5.45pm and the Hustings are being run by Churches Together Around Ludlow, which has run a number of previous hustings.

The format for the evening will be a five-minute opening statement by each of the four candidates.

These will be followed by written questions from attendees, read out by the chairman, for which the candidates will each be allowed three-minute responses, and each questioner will be allowed one immediate follow up question. The candidates will be allowed a final three-minute statement at the end.
