How would a Victorian Christmas – the preparations and celebrations – differ from what we know today?

There's the chance to find out next week at the Friends’ Meeting House in Cowl Street, Evesham, when From Time to Time will be bringing alive a Victorian Christmas for the Vale of Evesham Historical Society.

From Time to Time is made up of two experienced and knowledgeable historians who have been involved in living history for more than 20 years.

Living history interpretation is an entertaining and exciting way to engage everyone’s attention and make the past interesting by making it fun.

There is plenty of banter and humour and appropriate costume but also a vast amount of information to show you what ordinary life may have been like for you.

The event takes place on Thursday, December 12, at 7.30pm.

Entrance is only £3 for non-members (£2 for members) and includes tea/coffee and biscuits.
