DELAYS: People are being urged to check before they travel
RAIL users face a number of delays this afternoon and into the evening as West Midlands Railway suffered a fault.
A fault with a set of points - which allow trains to switch tracks - between Longbridge and Kings Norton suffered a break down.
The problem has just been fixed but there are warnings there will be disruption to trains while the timetable returns to normal.
In particular, there are delays from New Street to Redditch / Bromsgrove and delays going from Bromsgrove / Redditch to New Street.
People are being urged to check before they travel.
