The quality of the pupils’ personal development is excellent and ‘have high levels of social development and work most effectively with others.’

In order to improve, the school has been advised to ensure that teaching provides opportunities for the pupils to develop their skills in ICT throughout the curriculum to enhance all areas of their learning.

Headteacher Chris Allen said: “I was very proud of all the staff and of their work leading up to this inspection and, of course, I was delighted with the outcomes.”

With the ISI having four levels of descriptors, the school was placed in the upper categories with judgements of ‘the quality of the pupils’ personal development’ as excellent and ‘the quality of the pupils’ academic and other achievements’ as good.
