THE popular Great Malvern Farmers’ Market will have a temporary new home during the winter months.
The much-loved market, which is usually held on Abbey Road, will change its venue to the Lyttelton Rooms, on 6 Church Street, to accommodate the changing weather conditions.
The next two events, organised by Boffy Arts Markets, will be held from 9am to 2pm on January 18 and February 15.
Beverley Nielsen, portfolio holder for economic development and tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said: “The Great Malvern Farmers’ Market is a staple event in the town’s calendar.
"Popular with residents and visitors alike, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
"The temporary change of venue will allow traders to continue to share their goods, whatever the weather.”
