WE have been taking a look through our archive here at Berrows House, and have unearthed some brilliant memories from some of Worcester’s schools over the years.

This time, we are taking a trip down memory lane and have put together a collection of moments from Stanley Road Primary School in Worcester.

Seen here are retiring head teacher Peter Wootton planting trees, travelling teacher Jean Kennedy leaving for South Africa, residents taking part in free English lessons at the school and a host of other memories such as the music-a-thon in the Crowngate Centre and a “royal visit” from the Queen and Prince Phillip, played by Barbara Jenkins and Ebadur Rahman, who came to the city to open a book shop in 1995.
