Worcester

A silver Hotpoint Tumble Dryer, a Flymo Strimmer and a pink and white Carletta push bike was stolen after a garage was broken into on Goldsmith Road Worcester between 7am on January 24 and 10:30 on January 25 . The reference number is 0441-s-250120.

Over the last two or three weeks a premises has been broken into. nothing has been taken from the communal area where this has taken place. Police are appealing for witnesses to this burglary which took place on Farrier Street, Worcester.

A distinctive moped with black and orange stickers has been stolen from Sidbury, Worcester.

The theft happened between 5pm and 9pm on Saturday, January 25. Incident number: 0732S 27012020

A burglary has taken place at a house Boughton Avenue, Worcester.

The house was ransacked and items were stolen including cash sometime between 6pm on Friday, January 24 and 1am on Saturday, January 25. Reference number is: 0046S 250120

A window has been smashed at a Worcester shop.

The road-facing window of the building, in the Upper Tything, was smashed between midnight on January 24 and 1pm on January 25.

A motorbike has been stolen from a Worcester street.

Between 9pm on January 25 and 4pm on January 26, someone is believed to have removed a fence panel to get to where the bike was stored. It is a yellow Honda Monkey motorbike.

Police are warning car owners to be vigilant after a spate of catalytic converter thefts across West Mercia.

According to the force, there has been an increase in catalytic converter thefts due to a rise in the value of the precious metals they contain.

PC Dale Tomkins said: “Thieves tend to target vehicles such as vans and 4x4s that have a higher ground clearance making the converters more easily accessible.

“However, all types of vehicles are vulnerable.

“Please help us tackle this crime by taking steps to reduce the chances of your vehicle being targeted.

“We need to know about any suspicious activity around parked vehicles.

“Please contact us on 101 with any information about what is happening in your area.”

Tips on how to protect your vehicle include keeping your vehicle in a garage if you can or installing motion activated lighting or fitting a converter lock.

Between 5pm and 9pm on January 27, a black with orange stickers moped was stolen from Sidbury.

It has a registration number AJS SJM.

An unknown offender broke into a property in Boughton Avenue, and carried out an untidy search and caused damage.

Various items were stolen including cash. People should contact police on 101 with information, quoting 0046S.

At attempt to siphon fuel from a car parked on a drive way has been made in Minge Lane, Upton.

The fuel cap was forced upon and it happened overnight on January 28.

Someone has attempted to siphon fuel from a Hyundai car parked on a drive way. The fuel cap had been forced open.

Police have warned residents to beware after a cold caller talked her way into someone’s home. A West Mercia Police spokesman said that, on January 29, a smartly dressed female talked her way into a property in Windmill Close, Worcester and persuaded the resident to sign a blank piece of paper. Nothing was taken from the address and no personal information was harvested, but, this caused the resident a great deal of stress. Police say that, to sell on the doorstep legally, a valid pedlars licence is required and not just a photo ID.

Police have issued a warning after an attempted bike theft. Between 02:46 am and 03:46am on January 30 a white male attempted to steal bikes from the rear of a property on Bath Road. Police describe him is in his 20s, medium build with glasses, dark hair. He was wearing a hoody and Nike trainers.

A white male attempted to gain entry to the rear of a property in Stephenson Terrace on January 29 at 9:15pm . He was wearing a puma tracksuit, glasses was of slim build and around 5’11 ft tall. Police have advised people to consider improving their garden security with lights, alarms and padlocks on shed doors.

Police are appealing for witnesses following criminal damage to a window. The window of a commercial premises in Lowesmoor, Worcester was damaged at 3am on January 30. Police say the offender was described as a white male, approximately 25 years of age with blonde hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt and cream jeans. A property in Sabrina Terrace, Worcester has been broken into. A black cross bike was stolen from the property at 10pm on Wednesday January 30. If you have information that you believe may be in connection, please contact the Police on 101, quoting 0106S 300120.

A mobile phone was stolen from a car.

The phone was taken from the vehicle parked in Lansdowne Road, Worcester, on January 30 between 8pm and midnight.

Evesham

There has been a spree of break-ins and thefts in Evesham. Someone broke into a business premises on Swan Lane, Evesham, stealing the cash till. It is not known, if anything has been stolen. This happened on Friday January 24 at 11:30pm. Anyone with information should call 101 and quote the reference 0852S240120.

Three jewellery boxes, some CDs and a purse with cash and cards was taken during a break in at St Margaret’s Road between 6:45pm and 8pm. Reference number is 0686S.

Jewellery and games consoles was stolen during a break in on Lingfield Road, Evesham and someone also broke into a property on Evendene Road in recent days. Reference number is 0762S.

There was also a break in on Hamilton Road between 6pm and 8pm. Reference is 0689S.

A car had all four tyres slashed while it was parked on Hathaway Close in South Littleton between 5:30pm on January 24 and 8:15am on January 25. Reference is 0347S.

Droitwich

A laptop and some jewellery was stolen during a break in at a house on Perrins Way, Bevere, Droitwich on Saturday January 25, between 9:30am and 3:45pm. Reference number is 0457S.

Three males damaged the rear doors at a house on Portland Road, Droitwich on January 23 around 1:30pm. Reference is 0572S.

A van parked in a hotel car park was broken into and tools stolen from within in Crossway Green at around 9.30pm on Monday, January 27. A witness reported seeing a black coloured Vauxhall Zafira car driving away from the scene with two males inside.

A motorcycle was stolen from outside a house in Henley Drive, Droitwich.

The distinctive KTM 290 Duke was white and orange and was taken between Friday, January 24 and Monday, January 27. Reference number: 0349S.

A van parked in a hotel car park in Rashwood Hill was broken into and damaged overnight. A laser level and two cans of diesel fuel were reported stolen.

The offence happened overnight on January 28.

Meanwhile, on the same car park at 9.30pm on January 27, a van on a hotel car park in Crossway Green was broken into. Witness reported seeing a black coloured Vauxhall Zafira car making off from the scene with two men in it.

A business was broken into in Tagwell Road, Droitwich, overnight on January 27.

A till containing cash was stolen.

Malvern

Youths were seen smashing up Christmas lights and throwing them onto West Malvern Road on Sunday January 26. If you witness anti-social behaviour and/or criminal damage please call 101 or in an emergency 999.

A door has been damaged during a burglary in Malvern.

Offender(s) have gained entry to a house in Archer Close, but nothing appears to have been taken.

The incident happened on the evening of January 26.

A Superdrug shoplifter steals a number of products.

On January 26 at 3pm a middle aged female was seen stealing items from Superdrug.

The woman was described as short with red hair and a beige puffa jacket.

An outbuilding and a car has been damaged in an attempted break in.

Offenders attempted to gain access to the car and outbuilding on Bredon Grove in Malvern, on the evening of January 25, but nothing was taken.

A white ford transit van has been broken into on Walnut Crescent overnight between January 27 and into the early hours of January 28.

Two lamps were taken from inside the vehicle.

The damage took place between January 26 and 27.

Between 5pm on January 27 and 07.10am on January 28, access was gained to a van, which was parked on parked on Fruitlands Malvern. It is not known at this time if anything has been taken.

A white Ford transit van was broken into, which was was parked on a driveway on Walnut Crescent Malvern.

The break in happened between 11pm on January 27 and 8am on January 28. Tools were stolen.

A car key burglary took place in Upper Welland Road, Malvern.

Jewellery was taken in the burglary that happened at 2.30pm on January 27, and an Audi A5 S5 Quattro was stolen.

A burglary has occurred in Walnut Avenue, Malvern.

A white Ford Transit van has been broken into overnight and tools were taken and later found in a nearby lane.

It took place overnight on Tuesday, January 28. and the crime reference number is: 0104S.

A car has been damaged parked up in Coombe Green Malvern.

The side and back doors locks have been cut and peeled back.

Nothing was taken from the vehicle during the criminal act which took place sometimes between 10am and just before 5pm on Tuesday, January 28

Pallets and other items were damaged by youths riding on mopeds around Sparrowhawk Close, Malvern.

It was reported to police overnight into the early hours of Friday, but it had reportedly happened a number of times over several nights.

A wellington boot, with a plant inside it, was stolen from outside a property in Upton upon Severn.

The large boot was taken at 10.20pm on January 27 from outside the property in Old Street.

Kempsey

A brick has been thrown through a window in Kempsey. Police are appealing for witnesses to the criminal damage on Constantine Close, Kempsey on January 25. The incident number is 0204S.
