A NEW monthly street feast is being launched in Hereford as city revellers are treated to a casual dining experience.

The Bastion Street Feast will kick off this Saturday (February 15) inside Bastion Mews, with The Shack Revolution hosting the event from midday until midnight.

Street feast founder James Manning said: "Hereford's crying out for something like this.

"We have so many amazing street food vendors on our doorstep and Bastion Street Feast is all about bringing Hereford city centre something different each month."

Saturday's feast will feature food from firms including The Beefy Boys, Leaven Pizza and Greek On The Street, with live acoustic sessions during the day and a DJ until midnight.

There is no admission fee but organisers say it is card only inside the venue, with friendly dogs welcome.
