A KIDDERMINSTER pub is being investigated after a video emerged of people leaving the drinking spot on the weekend.
The video shows individuals leaving The Golden Lion on George Street on Sunday (March 22), following the Prime Minister's closure order.
Businesses that do not follow new emergency closure regulations could face unlimited fines and have their licences withdrawn.
In the video, Kidderminster resident Paige Price says: "I've just been up to the door - Loud music and punters in there.
"They're taking their kids in their as well."
It was circulated on social media by Kidderminster residents before Worcestershire Regulatory Services confirmed they were investigating the pub.
On one Facebook post, a user asked deputy leader of Wyre Forest District Council Fran Oborski “What is going to happen to pubs who refuse to close?”
She replied: “They are probably risking their licences. Please report all cases to the Police.”
Elsewhere in Kidderminster, Pennies in the Bull Ring and The Vault in Oxford Street are also among those being investigated following reports by the police.
A spokesman for Worcestershire Regulatory Services said: "Worcestershire Regulatory Services is investigating several businesses notified by the police as being open at the weekend contrary to legal requirements."
"As well as investigating these premises, officers will be carrying out spot checks at licensed premises and restaurants and prosecutions will follow if the new regulations are found to be being breached."
The Shuttle has attempted to contact The Golden Lion for comment.
