ANYONE holding a concessionary bus pass in Worcestershire will be able to travel for free on all public bus services before 9.30 in the morning during the Coronavirus pandemic.
“This initiative will help those residents who rely on public transport to access essential services during the coronavirus pandemic,” said councillor Alan Amos, cabinet member with responsibility for highways at Worcestershire County Council.
“We appreciate that the current situation is difficult for many residents and hope that this temporary measure will provide greater flexibility at this time.”
People using public transport need to make sure that as far as possible they keep at least two metres away from anyone else.
Bus and train services across the country have been reduced and demand has dropped during the crisis period.
