SANDWICH lovers in Kidderminster can get their favourite Subway sarnies for takeaway or delivery as of next week.
The town centre branch in Coventry Street is reopening its doors to customers on Wednesday, May 27 for takeaway and delivery only.
Last week, the chain confirmed it would reopen 600 restaurants - a quarter of UK stores - after closing its doors in March due to the coronavirus crisis.
Bosses at the Kidderminster branch say they will be implementing strict social distancing policies, including two metre distance markings for all customers and heightened hygiene practices.
The shop will be opening for reduced hours - from 9am to 6pm.
All emergency services and NHS staff will be able to enjoy 25 per cent off their entire orders, while Shuttle readers can get 25 per cent off their first online purchase by using the code GET25 at subwayDY10.co.uk.
Subway is the latest fast food chain to reopen its doors in the town.
This week, McDonald's confirmed Kidderminster's restaurants would not be among the first batch of sites reopening, however KFC in Stourport Road has already reopened for drive-thru and takeaways, and the Starbucks next door is set to welcome customers back this Friday.
The KFC drive-thru is trading from midday to 9pm and Starbucks will open from 8am to 4pm - both offering limited menus.
