A VANDAL whose string of offences included damaging equipment at Bromsgrove Cricket Club faces almost six months behind bars if he reoffends in the next year.
Tobi Hurding, 31, of Allcroft Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, was sentenced to 23 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, for numerous offences by Kidderminster Magistrates.
Among the offences he pleaded guilty to was damaging netting and bollards belonging to Bromsgrove CC, on St Godwald’s Road, on October 4, 2019.
Hurding also admitted to, on the same day as his offence at the cricket club, damaging an ambulance in Redditch.
He was also found guilty of ten separate offences in Worcester that contributed to his sentence.
Those offences included an assault on September 25, 2019 and several instances of breaching a restraining order in relation to a particular address.
Hurding was also found guilty of breaching a restraining order by contacting several individuals as well as failing to surrender to custody on two occasions.
In addition, Hurding was fined a total of £925 and ordered to remain under a curfew for 12 weeks, until August 14. He must remain at his home address between the hours of 4pm to 6am each day.
