DEAN Whitehouse has been left to rue missed chances during Dudley Town's opening two game.
The Robins picked up their first point of the new West Midlands Premier League campaign with a 1-1 draw at Pershore Town last Saturday as they bounced back from an opening day defeat against Pegasus Juniors.
However, both games have seen them pass up good chances in front of goal.
Manager Dean Whitehouse said: "We are making chances but not putting them away. That has been the story of our first two games.
"We weren't good enough against Pegasus Juniors and for the first time in a long time I've had to tell them to buck their ideas up.
"They reacted well against Pershore and had a better attitude and moved the ball quicker. The only thing missing is just that final moment where we take our chances.
"If we can get that right then we'll hopefully start winning games."
Town will next be in action at home to Shifnal at York Road this Saturday (3pm kick-off).
Whitehouse has no major injury issues but is now searching to add an assistant manager to his backroom team.
Anyone interested is asked to contact Dudley Town through the club's website.
