How they rated:

Stourbridge 4, Coalville 2.

Wren: Made some important saves in difficult handling conditions, especially in the second half when Coalville pushed on looking for a way back. 7.

Hayden: A difficult day for defending but he did well against a very mobile Coalville forward line. 6.5.

Brown: Athletic and quick to the loose ball on a number of occasions. Composed when required but also knew when to clear. Some good recovery tackles. 7.

McCone: Towering showing from the centre back. Strong in the air throughout and carried the ball out well. 7.5.

Westlake: Solid showing against a lively Coalville attack. 6.5.

Forde: Good energy throughout but really came into his own in the second half as he won the ball back in key areas to keep Coalville at bay. 7.

Powell: Worked hard but struggled to have an impact in the final third. Always an option and helped his side stretch the pitch. 6.5.

Broadhurst: Two more key goals from the ever-reliable midfielder who is always in the right place at the right time. His goals came at important times in the game. 7.5.

Benbow: An isolated figure in the first half as Coalville were quick out the blocks. However, he held the ball up well in the second half, linked play and then fired in a brilliant trademark free-kick to hand his side a key advantage. 7.5.

Thompson-Brown: Struggled to get into the game at times though his set-pieces were always a threat. Replaced by Birch just after the hour. 6.

Mills: Another fine display from the winger who had another major say in proceedings. Won the penalty before taking it himself to make it 1-1, won the free-kick for Benbow’s goal and also had a hand Broadhurst’s second. 8.

Anderson: Provided some fresh legs as Stour saw out the game. 6.5.

Birch: Worked hard to fill crucial gaps in midfield as his side battled their way to victory. 6.5.
