WORCESTER City have secured their second signing of the day with the addition of former Hereford FC midfielder Aaron Birch.
Stourbridge-born Birch was part of the Hereford squad who won the Midland League Premier Division in 2016 and bagged five goals.
The 24-year-old went through the youth system at West Bromwich Albion before also playing for Stourbridge, Alvechurch, Halesowen Town and Sutton Coldfield Town.
Birch reportedly attracted interest from Football League clubs Swindon Town and Bristol City during his successful spell with Hereford.
Manager Ashley Vincent said: "Birchy was another one of my top targets this summer and I'm so pleased and excited he has agreed to come in for the season ahead.
"He came to us and rejected offers from higher up the pyramid to do so. He has the right mentality and the experience of this level from his time with Hereford."
Earlier today City signed ex-Birmingham City centre-half Nat Kelly who finished last season with Leicester Road in Midland League Division One.
