LENNOX Clarke says he's confident he can bring the British and Commonwealth super middleweight titles to Halesowen.

The 28-year-old fighter will take on Lerrone Richards in Birmingham next month.

Their battle features on the undercard of Zolani Tete’s clash with John Reil Casimero for the WBO World Bantamweight belt on the ‘Midlands Mayhem’ show put on by Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions.

A packed programme will see six title fights taking place at the Arena Birmingham on Saturday, November 30, live on BT Sport.

Clarke (19-0-1, 7KOs) thinks he has what it takes to trouble fellow undefeated fighter Richards (12-0, 3KOs).

The pair went head-to-head for the first time as ‘Midlands Mayhem’ was launched at Birmingham City’s St Andrew’s Ground on Monday.

Clarke said: “It's a massive opportunity in front of my home city.

“This is a massive fight and a winnable fight and I'm confident I will.

"I'm a different animal to anyone that he has ever been in the ring with. He knows that and I know that and he's got to be better than his best to beat me.

"I'm back now, fit and strong and training like a mad man.

"I'm six weeks out and I'm feeling good, so we'll pick up the sparring now and we're ready to go."

Other fights on the card include Sam Bowen’s clash with Anthony Cacace for the British super featherweight championship, the British Welterweight bout between Chris Jenkins and Liam Taylor, and the WBO European Welterweight battle between Sam Maxwell and Connor Parker.
