How they rated: Stourbridge 2, Eastleigh 2

Wren: Perhaps at fault for the first goal when coming to push but missing but more than made up for that with a fine display. Made good saves in each half, denied Rendell from the spot and then made a late diving save to keep the scores level. 7.5.

Green: Positionally really good and read the game well to snap in and win the ball. Gave Seaman too much room for an early sighter but soon put that right. 7.

Fisher: Came into the side and looked composed on the ball and did well to support attack when the chance arose. 7.

Turton: Provided a solid platform for Stourbridge and got on the ball more in the second half to get his side on the attack. 7.

Williams: Did well in difficult conditions. Won important headers and scrambled the ball away as Eastleigh piled on the pressure. Came across into the right-back channel to clear well too. 7.5.

Brown: Superb display after moving into the centre back position. Had a fine first half as he won the ball and always kept his cool to find a pass. 8.

Bellis: Did really well in midfield where Stourbridge enjoyed the better of things. Neat link up play and his ability to find a pass was key to Stour being well in the contest. 7.

Tonks: Wow. What a display from the midfield man. Snapped into challenges, set the tone and never stopped running. Found good balls forward to Tilt as Stour played on the break. Then filled in in defence late on. Epitomized all that Stour were about in this game. He’s got a good long throw too. 9.

Lloyd: Held the ball up well and linked up for the second goal. Fine controlled header from Tonks’ long throw to give his side the lead. 7.5.

Grocott: What a finish from the attacker for Stour’s second. Great build up play but he put the finishing touches to it with an effort that was too good for Stryjek. Worked hard to press the visitors as well. 7.5.

Tilt: A big threat, especially when the game was stretched in the second half. His touch let him down when he was in behind in the second half but then died by a fine save to win it late on. His pace will be key in the second leg. 7.

Subs: Nicholls: Good impact. Nearly won it with a late header but his effort drifted agonisingly wide. 7.

Winwood: Added fresh legs as Stour looked to dig in. Kept things simple but did well. 7.

Birch: Late change but helped his side negotiate a difficult spell approaching injury time. 7.
