HANDY Andy Sutton was in seventh heaven as Barnt Green completely humiliated powerful Knowle and Dorridge by 10 wickets in Birmingham League Premier One.

Strike bowler Sutton finished with the outstanding figures of seven for 20 from his 10 over spell as Knowle and Dorridge were dismantled for just 43 runs.

Only wicketkeeper James Middleton managed to reach double figures with 17 as the remaining batsmen disintegrated to Sutton and fellow opening bowler Robbie Shurmer, the Oxfordshire Minor Counties man picking up two for 22 from his 10 over stint.

There was just time for first change bowler Adam Hines to get in on the action, picking up the last Knowle and Dorridge wicket from his fifth delivery.

The Green then compounded matters by knocking off the required runs in only four overs, Worcestershire opening bat Ed Pollock plundering 31 not out off 12 balls while opening partner Ben Chapman-Lilley finished on 15 not out.

Despite their dominance, the Green still remain second in Premier One as league leaders Smethwick show few signs of slipping up and hold a 22 point advantage going into the final four games of the season.
