ENVILLE Athletic lifted the Midland Combination Challenge Vase by beating Coventry United.
They caused an upset in the final by winning 3-1 at Chelmsley Town on Saturday, May 10 in front of 350 fans.
Coventry's previous free scoring football was halted by an Enville team whose determination to win was apparent from start to finish.
Enville took the lead on the half hour mark when Dan Williams met a corner to head home.
Their advantage was doubled ten minutes later when Sam Burda bagged a great solo effort.
Williams again struck 20 minutes into the second half by hitting a volley to ensure Enville tasted cup glory.
Coventry got a consolation when Jack Jeys converted a 78th minute penalty.
