A Dudley drink driver who failed to stop after an accident has been banned for 18 months and ordered to pay £569 in fines and costs. Bodie Lee Johnson, aged 20, of Milton Crescent, The Straits, admitted driving while over the limit; without due care; and failing to stop after an accident which damaged another vehicle.

Dudley man admits racial abuse of police

A Dudley man has been given a suspended jailed sentence for racially abusing three police officers. Mohammed Amin Salim, aged 32, of Blackacre Road, admitted three racially aggravated charges and was sentenced to a total of 40 weeks in jail, suspended for 18 months. He must also do unpaid voluntary work and pay a total of £606 in fines and costs.

Dudley pub fined £8,000 for hygiene breach

The owners of a Dudley pub have been fined £8,000 for a breach of hygiene regulations and ordered to pay another £2,277 in costs. Four other charges of hygiene breaches were withdrawn. Greene King Retailing Ltd, based at Bury St Edmunds, pleaded guilty to a food safety procedure failing at the Bramford Arms in Park Road, Woodsetton in October 2019.

Curfew for Dudley man who racially harassed police officer

A Dudley man has been placed under curfew after racially harassing a police officer. Jack Burns, aged 20, of Arcal Street, Sedgley, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £195 in costs and compensation. He was put on electronic monitoring for an 8-week curfew from 7pm to 6am.

Ban for Dudley drink-drive suspect

A suspected Dudley drink-driver has been banned for 2 years and ordered to pay £520 in fines and costs. Dab Maximovici, aged 42, of Stourbridge Road, admitted driving a Ford Fusion without insurance or the proper licence, and failing to provide a breath test.

Dudley man breached restraining order

A Dudley man who breached a restraining order has been ordered to pay £214 in fines and costs. Steven John Fidler, aged 54, of Park Road, Woodsetton, pleaded guilty.

Dudley drink-driver had cocaine

A Dudley drink-driver who had cocaine in his possession has been ordered to pay £719 in fines and costs and banned from driving for 22 months. Rafal Kulasinski, aged 28, of Brewery Street, had 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was tested after driving his Chevrolet Cruze in Tipton. The limit is 35. He admitted both charges.

Dudley man assaulted two women

A Dudley man is risking a jail term after assaulting two women. Dylan Raybould, aged 25, of Conister Close, Quarry Bank, had initially denied the charges but changed his plea to guilty.

Dudley teenager assaulted police officer

A Dudley teenager who assaulted a police officer at Brierley Hill on December 6 has been fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 compensation. Elizabeth Marsh, aged 19, of Marigold Crescent, pleaded guilty.

Man fined for breaching Covid restrictions

A MAN has been fined for breaching coronavirus restrictions. Brad Lewis Cox, aged 26, of High Street, Dudley, admitted being in a car in Himley Road. with two others he did not live or work with. He was fined £100. He was also fined £50 and ordered to pay £30 costs after he admitted possessing cannabis.
