OLDBURY Repertory Theatre is gearing up to stage the world premiere of a new Dracula-inspired play.
Titled The Changeling, the play is written by Paul Steventon-Marks, a familiar name to theatre-goers for his previous work, Frankenstein – A Monster in Paris.
The story, set in the snow-covered Transylvanian mountains, follows Doctor Van Helsing in a race against time to save humanity.
The plot combines elements of the Dracula myth, changeling children and cordyceps mushrooms.
The production promises an immersive experience with its soundtrack, lighting, set and costumes.
Performances will run from Saturday, July 11 to Saturday, July 18, with ticket prices ranging from £10 to £12.
The play will be performed at the Oldbury Rep Theatre, with free parking available nearby.
The theatre is also within walking distance of Langley Green Station and is served by several bus routes.
