There will be parking disruption at Dudley Archives and Local History Centre next month.

The car park at the centre on Tipton Road will be out of action from Thursday July 17 to Wednesday July 23, due to essential work being carried out by the National Grid.

The centre will be open as normal and has apologised to customers for the inconvenience.

Paul Ford, Senior Archivist, said: “We are advising customers not to use the car park during the period.

"The centre will be running as usual, and the National Grid apologises for any inconvenience caused.”

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs

Dudley Archives and Local History Centre on behalf of Dudley Council.

The facility includes newspaper records, ancestry tools and a local information index.
