A COUPLE, their daughter and their dog will all star in a beloved musical production.
Husband and wife duo Pete and Ruth Hopper and daughter Jaziah are preparing to share the stage in a local production of Annie.
Annie is a heartwarming musical about a spirited young orphan who finds hope, family and love during the Great Depression.
Jaziah has been casted in the show’s title role, with Pete set to portray billionaire Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, and Ruth featured as a dancer in the production.
It has been produced by the Cradley Heath Amateur Operatic Society, the longest-established amateur operatic society in the Black Country region.
Ruth Hopper said: “Thanks to CHAOS for making our dreams come true and selecting them (Pete and Jaziah) for these roles.
“I cannot wait to be a dancer in this amazing show with a truly incredible cast and society.”
The family’s fourth member, Labrador, Agatha, will also make her theatrical debut as the lovable stray dog ‘Sandy.’
The show will be featuring evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Audiences can expect iconic numbers such as ‘Tomorrow,’ ‘It’s the Hard Knock Life,’ and ‘Easy Street,’ in a production that promises a heartfelt experience for all ages.
The show will be running from Tuesday, November 11 to Saturday, November 15 at Stourbridge Town Hall.
