A family-run shop in Rowley Regis has offered to send over 100 cards to a woman ahead of her 102nd birthday.
Brenda, who is originally from Tipton, lives at The Firs Care Home in Dudley, and will celebrate her 102nd birthday on Monday, March 16.
Ahead of Brenda's birthday, The Firs took to social media in January to enlist the community's help in preparing the 'best day ever' for the beloved care home resident.
In the run up to Brenda's latest milestone birthday, Ben Wade, who is the owner of Magic Moments, says he was contacted via social media about the birthday card appeal and was instantly determined to do his bit.
Magic Moments have now offered The Firs Care Home 102 free birthday cards ahead of Brenda's birthday celebrations.
Ben said: "When I saw that this remarkable lady was reaching the grand age of 102, I couldn't help but offer a gesture of donating 102 cards. Let's face it she deserves it."
Writing on social media in January, the Firs had said: "We will be arranging a birthday party for her so if there's any businesses who would like to donate a cake, a singer, decorations, balloons, of course a tiara or anything at all please contact Tracey Horton or Jess Holyhead, activity tea, and we will give this beautiful lady the best day ever."
Two days later, the care home reported that it had received equipment that would help them Brenda's birthday party to life, with including LED lights, balloons, a tiara, and birthday cakes.
"Thank you all so very much who have reached out to give Brenda the best birthday ever," The Firs said.
"We now have a singer, led lights, balloons, birthday cakes, hairstylist, a Tiara, someone making a piece of jewellery, buffet, a special guest appearance, which is a secret.
"So all she needs now is her 102 cards...If you wish to send Brenda a card now we will be putting them away until her birthday."
