A ROAD in Sedgley is closed due to a water leak.

The Northway on Sedgley is expected to remain closed until Wednesday (March 25).

It closed yesterday (Sunday March 22) from the junction of Wolverhampton Road to outside 389 Northway.

The diversion is via Wolverhampton Road, High Street, Gospel End Road, Northway and vice versa.

A spokesperson for Dudley Council said: "The restriction is required to safely facilitate a repair to a water pipe after a leak.

"Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services where safe to do so."
