GLOBAL music icons Duran Duran are preparing to hit the road again, bringing their iconic sound back to UK arenas for the first time in three years.
The legendary band, which formed in Birmingham, will return to their hometown on October 23 for a show at the Utilita Arena as part of their first full UK arena tour in three years.
The new tour comes amid a flurry of activity for the band, including the release of their single Free To Love, featuring long-time collaborator Nile Rodgers, and a headline performance at BST Hyde Park in July.
Other dates on the UK leg include Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on October 15, Belfast’s SSE Arena on October 18, and Leeds’ First Bank Arena on October 24.
Birmingham’s own Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, and Roger Taylor have cemented their place in pop history with global hits like Rio, Hungry Like the Wolf, Girls on Film, and Ordinary World.
They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Known for their electrifying live performances and pioneering synth-pop sound, the band recently released their 16th studio album, Danse Macabre, which became their 10th UK Top 5 record.
Their Future Past Tour saw sold-out dates across the UK and North America, including a special Halloween show at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena in 2025.
Duran Duran were also honoured at Italy’s Sanremo Festival last year with the Città di Sanremo award, marking 40 years since their debut at the iconic event.
This autumn, the band will also perform in cities across Europe, with shows planned for Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Cologne, Brussels, and Paris.
They will be joined on the UK leg by special guests Pigeon, a psychedelic five-piece from Margate whose debut album, OUTTANATIONAL, is a thrilling collection of party songs without limits.
Tickets for the UK arena tour go on sale on June 5 at 10:00 BST.
