Search the Public Notice PortalDUDLEY Metropolitan Borough Council has temporarily closured several roads around Burnt Tree Junction at night time.
The move is part of an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), which aims to facilitate necessary resurfacing works.

The affected roads will be closed in two phases.
Phase one will see the closure of New Birmingham Road (northbound from Burnt Tree Junction to Regent Road), Bunns Lane, Birmingham Road (both westbound and eastbound), Birmingham New Road (northbound from Burnt Tree Junction to adjacent Castlemill Offices), and Castlegate Drive.
In phase two, the closures will affect Birmingham New Road (southbound from Tesco entrance to Burnt Tree), Burnt Tree, Tividale Road, and Birmingham New Road (southbound from Birmingham New Road to Walford Street).
The order, which came into effect on June 22, will remain in force until July 31 or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The restrictions will be in place from 8pm to 5am each day.
Traffic will be diverted during the closures.
In phase one, Birmingham Road southeast-bound traffic will be diverted via Castlegate Island, Tipton Road, and Birmingham New Road, with the same route in reverse for the opposite direction.
Birmingham Road eastbound traffic will be diverted via Castlegate Island, Tipton Road, Dudley Road, High Street (B4517), Park Lane West, Sedgley Road East, Dudley Port, and Burnt Tree, with the reverse route for westbound traffic.
The heavy goods vehicle route from Birchley Island northbound will be diverted via Birchley Island, Churchbridge, Oldbury Ringway, Dudley Road, Dudley Road East, Tipton Road, Sedgley Road East, Park Lane West, High Street (B4517), and Dudley Road.
New Birmingham Road northwest-bound traffic will be diverted via Hill Road, Dudley Road West, Tipton Road, Sedgley Road East, Park Lane West, High Street (B4517), Dudley Road, and Birmingham New Road.
Bunns Lane will have a local diversion via Corporation Road, Highfield Road, and Birmingham Road.
In phase two, Birmingham Road eastbound traffic will follow the same diversion as in phase one.
Birmingham New Road south-east bound traffic will be diverted via Dudley Road, High Street (B4517), Park Lane West, Sedgley Road East, Tipton Road, Dudley Road East, Dudley Road, Oldbury Ringway, and Churchbridge.
Tividale Road north-west bound traffic will be diverted via Dudley Road West, Tipton Road, Sedgley Road East, Park Lane West, High Street (B4517), and Dudley Road.
Tividale Road south-east bound traffic will be diverted via Dudley Road West, Dudley Road East, Dudley Road, Oldbury Ringway, and Churchbridge.
Access to properties and for emergency vehicles will be maintained where safe to do so.
