Man charged with more than 20 shop thefts in Tipton

A man has been charged with 21 counts of shop theft following incidents in Tipton earlier this month.

Thomas Stanford, 46, of no fixed address, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday, July 14) and is due to appear again in August.

The charges relate to thefts from four stores in Tipton between July 2 and July 9.
