Several town centre roads are set to close as Dudley hosts its annual Pride Event.
Closures will be in place on Saturday July 18 from 7am to 9.30pm to safely facilitate the Dudley Pride Event.
Affected roads include High Street from the junction of Wolverhampton Street to the junction of Stone Street, Stone Street from the junction of High Street to the junction of Priory Street, Tower Street from the junction of Stone Street to the junction of New Street, and Court Passage from the junction of Stone Street to the rear of 7 Stone Street.
All vehicular traffic will be diverted via Wolverhampton Street, Parsons Street, Ednam Road, Priory Road, and New Street.
A spokesperson for Dudley Council said the road closures have been put in place to safely facilitate the Dudley Pride Event.
They said access will be maintained for residents and emergency services where safe to do so.
The event will be held at Stone Street Square on Saturday, July 18, featuring a packed programme of performances, street stalls and entertainment celebrating the LGBTQ+ community.
The free event kicks off at 1pm under a large marquee with DJ Porky on the decks, setting the tone for an afternoon of music and celebration.
