A NEON-lit toilet that glows when flushed is the latest talking point at Stourbridge Glass Museum.
Aim Here, a glowing statement of humour and craftsmanship, features in the museum's Endangered Crafts Exhibition, curated in collaboration with the Contemporary Glass Society.
Peter Hoare, a neon glass artist and specialist engineering consultant for the film industry, created the interactive installation, which combines technical skill with playful design.
Councillor Pete Lowe, Mayor of Dudley, inaugurated the exhibit with the ceremonial ‘first flush.’
Alexander Goodger, director of Stourbridge Glass Museum, said: "Aim Here is everything we love about contemporary glass art.
"It is inventive, skilful and full of character.
"Peter Hoare has taken an endangered glass craft and built it into something completely unexpected."
The exhibition highlights endangered glassmaking techniques through maker profiles, demonstrations and new works, and runs until November 7.
The museum is located on High Street, Wordsley.
