A FAST-food chain is aiming to operate through the night at a retail park.

Popeyes, located at Merry Hill Retail Park in Brierley Park, has submitted an application for a premises licence to Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council.

The application, lodged by PLK Chicken UK Limited, seeks permission to provide late-night refreshments both on and off the premises daily from 11pm to 5am.

The notice can be viewed on the Public Notice Portal via: publicnoticeportal.uk

The application, made under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003, is open to written representations from responsible authorities or interested parties.

These must be submitted to the Director of Development & Regulation, Housing & Assets, Licensing, Dudley MBC, Lister Road Depot, Dudley, DY2 8JW by August 17.

The council has warned of the serious consequences for those who make false statements in connection with an application.
